If you don't mind spending a little fortune to have lunch, welcome at the Biffi restaurant in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, close to the Duomo. My parents and I didn't even set a foot inside, since we prefer spending our money for cultural purposes rather than to eat.
Anyway, Biffi is a historical restaurant, opened in 1867. I have photographed the menu to give you an idea of the prices in 2008. Just the cover charge cost 5.50 euros (in most restaurants, it costs one or max. two euros). Soups cost from 8 to 12 euros; pastas from 15 to 23 euros; meat dishes from 22 to 62 euros; and so on...
For more information, visit the website below, where you can also see some of the dishes they offer.
There's this really quaint dessert place at the Duomo....but it's VERY expensive, I paid close to 24 CDN for a scoop of gelati!! Of course, had I known the price....well, it was delicious nonetheless!
Hmmm....whistle at your waiter to get his attention...haha. Well, that's what I did! But they're especially friendly, and the price was very reasonable. The meal costed about 16 CDN w/ my fave Heinken beer.
