Officina 12, Milan

This restaurant is very popular in Navigli area. The internal garden is a nice spot for having your meal. The decoration is simple but elegant. The pizzas are cooked in the wood fire, but there are other starters and main courses which are also very delicious. It is not easy to find a cheap restaurant in Milan and considering the popularity, Officina 12 is not cheap either. However, for a good dinner in a nice ambiance, it is worth the money you pay.

Favorite Dish: I am addicted to pizzas :)

The Officina 12 is bigger inside than you will imagine from the frontage. You are met at the cloak rom and seated in an environment just a little style with its glass and wooden finishing

Favorite Dish: The steak fiorentina was obviusly a premium cut, be aware that unless you ask for it well done or such it will be quite rare. Served with potatoes chipped and baked in oil and rosemarino

Deserts were quite special ; the mousse and the layered cake of walnuts apple raisins in the grappa sauce - a killer indeed ................. very like the Lombardian culinary neighbour's Slovenian prekmurska gibanica
