The aspect of this interesting square changed a lot during the years.
San Babila church, once the most important attraction of the area, is almost covered now by huge palaces surrounding the square.
You cannot go anywhere in Milano without running into fashion models. During our walk past the Duomo, we ran into these models.
The Quadrilatero as it is called is the Fashion Quarter where all teh great Italian designers have their shop.
If Armani, Versace or Gucci is what you've come for, this is the place to be

the picture was taken front of the castle......but in "downtown" Milan you´ll find all these special expensive "haute couture" shops. Milan is one of these important fashion cities like Paris.
