The Opulent Costume Room at La Scala

When you join the guided tour, one of the rooms you'll get to see is - the opulent Costume Room. Amazing. I feel like donning a tutu and dance to the Swan Lake! (Joking yeah. I don't know ballet). ;-)

    The Lobby at La Scala.

I can't wait to go for my night of Opera here at the La Scala. I'm sure it'll be great! The only opera I've had the pleasure of watching is "AIDA" - which was sung entirely in Italian. At the time, I had absolutely no knowledge of the Italian language. But thankfully, they had 2 huge screens beside the stage - with English subtitles. The only snag is... I forgot to bring my binoculars. :-(

    Oh well...

In any case, you should join a guided day tour for an intimate look inside the La Scala. No regrets!

    The world famous La Scala

The La Scala Opera House is perhaps the 2nd most famous symbol of Milan (ah yes, il Duomo wins hands dowm and is the most famous attraction). The elegant and opulent surroundings of La Scala ensure that a night at the opera will definitely be a night for you to remember.

In the Piazza Della Scala you will find this wonderful statue of Leonardo Da Vinci. It is located directly behind the Galleria. The famous Della Scala opera hall is across the street. You can always find people relaxing around the statue, eating lunch, or just couples cuddling together.

    La Scala Opera House

LaScala opened in 1778 and is one of the most well known and prestigious opera houses in the world. It has the largest stage in Europe and features the greatest productions and singers. The tickets sell out months in advance. You can visit the Museo Teatrale which houses costumes of past productions as well as theatrical items dating back to Roman times. You can also view the auditorium to see the gilded box galleries and its enormous chandelier.

This is the beautiful SCALA . I´ve been surprised that the outdoorside is not so great as the inside .
That has been the reason why it is not easy to find !!
The INSIDE of The SCALA is so as I´ve expected it .
Seen in a lot of movies .

Get tickets to an opera performance at the 'Teatro Alla Scala'
One of the most known opera houses of the world, and certainly deserves its fame. Try to make reservations for an opera there. Being inside the Scala for an opera performance is like being in a time machine. If it is impressive nowadays, try to imagine this place being home for openings of opera pieces for names like Giuseppe Verdi, for instance.

La Scala. From the day it opened in 1778, La Scala became Italy's most famous and prestigious opera house. Boasting the largest stage in Europe, some of the most lavish productions have been staged there. Tickets to most performances are usually sold out in advance. However, you can occasionally pick up low-priced seats for that evening's performance. A good insight into the history of La Scala and its famous performers can be gained from visiting the Museo Teatrale next door.
