    In several villages around the Garda Lake are harbours for these touristic vessels.We didn t go on one, so I wouldn t know if it is expensive or not, but I think it s a nice way of exploring the area around Lago di Garda.

    Picture of the budino 'Creme Caramel' that we bought in the local shopping mall, only the product we bought came in a small plastic container that looked just a little bit different from the one in this picture.   • Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II

    Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II is a wide square with interesting Art Nouveau palaces. In the middle of the square you can see the nice white facade of the Chiesa della Visitazione (Church of the Visitazione) built in 1712 by the architect Antonio Spiazzi.

    Almost anywhere along the Garda lake you can hire a motor boat.
    It is rather expensive but if you are into boating, it s almost a must do.

  • Violin inventor?

    Did you know that a guy from Salò invented violins? I found a statue of this guy, Gasparo Da Salò. It's located near the path along the lake. It's worth to walk around the lake-side wood deck when it's nice weather.

    We haven t tried it, but this seems like a convenient thing to do when visiting around lake Garda.Perhaps next year? haha at least I then will be able to tell you wether it was as expensive as a taxi ride by road ;-)
