Santa Maria Maggiore, dates back to the end of 15th century and has only one nave and five altars - we just peeped in through the door as it looked as if a weddiing rehersal was taking place.

With the moat around the castle its not possible to walk around all the castle - it has to be seen from the lake to get the best view. The draw bridge however can be seen.

Lake of Garda is a glacial lake rather long with beautiful banks.
There are several companies proposing cruises.

Do not search for a beach with fine sand in Sirmione. The shore is muddy but it is possible to have a decent bath on few beaches like that one.
So choose an accomodation with a pool.
