Vecchia Riva is one of my favourite restaurants, it offers nice and quiet ambient situated very close to the lakeshore and sorrounded by lots of greenery. The cuisine is typicall north Italian, local dishes from Lombardy and Piedmont, but also Mediterranean offering pretty good seafood. Not of less importance, the prices are very acceptable.
Favorite Dish: First dish is selfservice, offering at least fifty different choices and all of it very well prepared and tastefull. My second choice is, as usual here, grilled fish with scampi. Long list of good and quality wines will make your choice harder, but I suggest wines from nearby Como area. If single, take quarter of wine suggested by your weiter. With inevitable espresso at the end, it cost me no more than 20 euros.
