Various Spots in the Region: Nightlife in the Marches
For those of you looking for a Disco, a bar, or any other "hot spot", you won't find it with me. Allan and I love to go out to eat at a leisurely pace [and in Le Marche, slow food is par for the course]. So nighlife for us involves eating the specialties of the area, drinking the wines of the area, making sure we leave room for desserts and coffee. Then, we love to wander, seeing at night what we have seen in the sunlight.The area takes on a whole new look, a look that is somehow softer, more mysterious, more romantic. Architecture is such a love for me that to see great structures at night is a real "high".Also, small bars [where liqueur or gelato is sold side-by-side] are great places to meet the people, to talk over the day's adventures, and to plan for the next day's schedule...all very dull for some people, but for Allan and for me, it's fun.
