The Roman villa was built in the first century and it the only testimony of this kind of building along the Amalfi coast. It was discoverd in 1932 and it was excavated among 1950 and 1954. The whole house came buried from the flood of October 26th 1954 and brought subsequently to the light.
Nowday above the ruins there is a small free museum where you can see some frescoes and objects dicovered in the villa and along the Amalfi coast.

Minori is a quite modern town with a nice promenade and a nice sandy beach. It is located in the wonderful landscape of the Amalfi Coast. Years ago this restaurant was much more popular, now it has developed into a more trendy and stylish restaurant. The food has also changed but is still tasteful and fresh.
Even if you can order meat, the restaurant's cuisine is mostly fish based, from the appetisers to the main courses. The fish is always fresh and nicely cooked and served.
