This is a pizzeria, not a luxury fine dining place. It's where the locals go. Ask around. Everyone knows it. And try the pizza with black truffles. Very good and excellent prices!

Favorite Dish: All the pizzas are good, however, very typical of the area is the truffle pizza, "Pizza con tartuffi", the truffles are found by dogs or boars sniffing them out of the ground. This pizza would cost you a bundle elsewhere but very cheap here. This is a salty dish so if you don't like salt, don't order this one, there are many, MANY others to choose from!

If you go to the main square, there are many indoor and outdoor cafés and bars. There are many pubs as well and dancing places. If you are a family, the main square is where people with families meet with their children over an ice-cream until the wee hours of the morning, yes, children in Italy do not sleep before 11pm!

    Dress Code: Casual.

    Italian church in Campobasso

It seems that in the place I was staying in Campobasso there is a church which bells have a terrific sound and they torture the ears of poor sleeping people at 8am and 12 at noon so strongly that all what you think at that moment is : "stop it now, noow.. NOW!!!" During the next hours the bells ring as well, but it's possible to support the sound..

This town about 10 km from Campobasso, called Gildone, is very old and hilly. We found the strange thing that the bathrooms are sticking out of the house in the back, like a cabin...
