BruceDunning Says: TAke the winding road to get to the village and park on the way up and into it before you enter. There are spots along side of the road that suffice and it looks like parking inside the walls may be scarce, or reserved.
bmare Says: I suggest to buy the 4-8 bus card (available on board), the 4 one costs 3,60 euro (instead single tickets that cost 1,50 euro each time), there are bus every 20 minutes.
Food is very expensive and not special
bmare Says: I suggest to avoid little restaurants and bar, they are very expensive and all with the same tourist menu, so if you have tried the tasteful italian cousine you know what you are eating in these places ...
bmare Says: I suggest to find an hotel in the near Nice Ville, there is always a big offer of budget and clean hotels from 39 euro/night (twin room), and it's far only half an hour by train (7 euro).
bmare Says: I suggest to see behind the famous Casinò, there is a wonderful green zone with rare plants and with one of the most beautiful lanscapes of the coast.

The village is on a hill-obvious-all are. It is in the wine producing area near Lucca and only 20 miles east. The belltower and fortress called Rocca del Cerruglio are the highlights of the viewing.
