Since this is the overall page on Italy, I won't make any specific recommendations. I will however spell out my observations on Italian nightlife in general. Going out here can be so much fun. Italians know how to have fun, and you can find great places all over. Generally, Italians go out much later than Americans. Most don't eat dinner until at least 8pm, and will leave to go out to a club at 11. Pubs - Usually places to just drink and chat with friends. There are Irish pubs in different places. I've been to one in Sorrento, which is quite good.There is another Irish Pub in Pozzuoli, close to Naples, that is very small, but serves food as well. Bottom line, there is no rules on what different places will have.
