Venice at Night

by Beograd

Venice at night is crowded. Restaurants and caffe bars are opened untill late. As for nightclubs, I don't know, but I am sure that there are many... I've seen a lot of young people and I doubt that they would be anywhere without good nightlife spots. when you get there, just ask someone on the street and I am sure they will tell you... Don't forget that you are in Italy!

The atmosphere is just great, everybody is enjoying in the music, cold drinks and friendly people all around the square. No dress code, everything is allowed exept to be totaly nude. Umbria Jazz: International Jazz Festival

by croisbeauty

During the Summer season, there are number of events whole over the Italy, the question is what to choose. For Opera lovers it is Verona and its Summer Opera Festival at Arena. For those who love Jazz, it is definetely Umbria Jazz at Perugia, from July 10th to the end of the month. I was there in the Summer of 2003 and it was extraordinary. I've seen Keith Jarrett in live-concert and a number of excellent musicians performed their music free at the squares of the town.

Sunglasses at night

by africaking

If you go out in Italy for a night out, it is pretty much like the rest of Europe, relaxed, fun enviroment and cheap drinks(depends where you go). After just having a nice meal, we decided to make a night of it and headed to the fair, a permanant theme park with a large club/bar.Once I entered I did not expect to see what I did, 90% of the people there were wearing white tops, jeans and sunglasses! All this at night? Surely not? Yes they were wearing sunglasses at night in a dark club, look cool? If you were in a movie maybe, but on a night out it just looks like some freakish clone get together, needless to say I did feel out of place, but that didn't stop us from getting drunk and having a laugh at others expense. You are sure to have an entertaining night out, I know I did. Not a set dress code, unless stated on the door, but I think sunglasses are a must if you wish to fit in.

Trinity College Pub: Awesome spot

by Abnwldcat21

Pretty kick ass club. Place gets pretty pack after midnight. You will find alot of foreigners and some locals. They play pretty much mainstream music. Definately a place to check out if you're a college student. As long as you look "cool".

Nightlife here? Ya right.

by johnnysutherland

There really is no nightlife here but don't worry. You can get a bottle or red wine and sit on a cliff overlooking the sea at a quaint little Italian restaurant and talk things over. Believe me, you won't want for anything else. Relaxed.

Red bull !: Pigliamoci una birra ne'? ?

by josecarlos

Turin might not be the most popular city in Italy, but it has several places to go out without spending a fortune. We had a good (actually several) beers at the Red Bull bar, in Corso Casale, next to the Po river.Excellent during summer ! (with some repellent for the mosquitos that invade the city, you can easily chat and drink outside...!) Relaxed !!! no make up, no suits, nothing fancy !

Cafe Fantini: Cafe Fantini

by jonno99

Station Termini and aroundCaffe FantiniVia A. Depretis 77b tel 06.474.6866. Bus #75. Mon--Sat 6.30am--6pm.Cafeteria-style service, sandwiches, and a hot and cold buffet -- a complete menu that's different every day. A convenient place to break after seeing Santa Maria Maggiore. Just go down the grand staircase at the back of the Basilica, cross Via Cavour and continue straight on about a block.Good stop for a bite. none -

Outdoor Orchestras on the Piazza: St. Mark's Square, Venice

by DJStarr

In the summer evenings, whole orchestras set up (3 or 4) in front of various restaurants, and play ballads and show tunes, mostly. Sit at a table outside and enjoy your bellini, and move to another site if the music subsides. I didn't see anyone dancing, but I imagine you can. If only I'd had a dance partner! Anything goes...If you've got a hot date, dress to the nines and strut your Italian "style".
