I have seen several restaurants in Cannero, and this one seems the most lively in the evenings. Probably it's because of its bar, where people spend time also before and after their meals. Or maybe it's just because it looks very hospitable and welcoming, with its tables in the open air and the spacious interiors. If you decide to stop there you will not be disappointed, because the menu offers a wide choice, and you will certainly find something to meet your taste.
It is closed on Mondays.
Favorite Dish: The owner is from the Southern Italy, so this restaurant has in its menu several specialities from the South, but serves also some of the best dishes from this region. I would suggest to start with linguine allo scoglio (with seafood) and then some local fish, such as perch in almond sauce.

The location of this restaurant, between a camping site and the beach of Cannero, is precisely where one would wish to find a pizzeria, i.e. a place where you can have a quick bite, or a three-course meal to be enjoyed at leisure. There is space enough for many tables outside, but also inside this restaurant is pleasant, because the wide windows allow a view of the lake anyway.
It is closed on Wednesdays.
Favorite Dish: Every time I have been there I had pizza, so this is what I can recommend. There is a long list of different toppings, personally I like the one with vegetables. Together with a cold beer, and followed by a good espresso, it is my idea of a perfect lunch.

This charming restaurant is in one of the old houses on the lake front. If you happen to have your meal inside you will probably see some pictures on the walls, showing how this same house looked like a century ago or so. But I think it more likely that you will want to dine outdoor. In fact the Europa is located on the promenade, and missing the lake view would be a shame. I hope the view will not distract you so much as not to notice how good the food is. Among the restaurants of Cannero the Europa is probably the one that is most faithful to the local tradition, serving regional foods and excellent Piemontese wines. Tourists tend to order jugs of the house wine, which is not bad at all, but a bottle of good wine will cost you just a few euros more, and it is worth every cent.

Favorite Dish: Manzo alla fiamminga, i.e. beef Flemish style. Delicious.
