Festivals in Piemonte
Not really a restaurant tip here but rather a suggestion to try and visit local festivals, named "Sagre" in Italian. Most of these occur once a year on a fixed date associated to the typical local food or produce.The origin of such events dates back a few centuries, even millennia ago, therefore next to being a "living museum" preserving the local traditions of a certain area, smalltown or village.Food is generally inexpensive and served at stands or inside a temporary canopy or awning.
