The service and food were very good. There are two levels to sit; one in a grotto carved into the rock. There are 3 restaurants right at the entry into the town, on the left side. They are side by side and the city hall and small museum of agriculture and household items is available to tour. We chose the first one on the left, and were pleased. The next one is Bar Centrale and it looked a lot like a more fast food/service type. And Bar Italia seemed similar to the other one. But I am sure they are all better than the normal in the US.
Favorite Dish: Boar meat prepared in a wine sauce that was rich and savory. I also had the peasant soup, with vegetables and bread base that was tasty.

tufo allegro is a very beautyfull restourant build in volcanic rock ! so it is great....and in particolar if you eat in the lower floor !
michelin and gambero rosso (the most famous food guide) suggested it !
so...it is a little bit expensive...BUT the price is right and maybe cheap for the originality of place and food !
