OSTUNI - known as the 'WHITE TOWN'.
The old town offers a spectacle of winding staircases, narrow streets, beautiful arches and natural balconies with sea view. (Places to visit: The old town, the Cathedral and the Preclassic museum)

POLIGNANO A MARE - a small picturesque town where I spent a month (I was on a business trip visiting grape producers)
Its little white houses protruding from a high cliff huddle one against the other, almost forming a single block with a rock above the breaking waves.
This strech of coastline is almost exclusively rocky with scarce patches of sand.
