Da Vito: Expensive but nice

I had a couple of appetizers for dinner: antipasto di mare and a caprese salad. The salad was very very good - tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella cheese. The antipasto was also good; it consisted of hunks of octopus and a lettuce salad covered in olive oil. The waiters were all dressed to the nines and the place was nicely decorated. It felt a little too upscale to me and after eating at Giuseppe's I was a little disappointed with the value for the meal. The restaurant is likely more suited to upscale fresh seafood eating which I didn't really order.

Favorite Dish: The caprese salad was my favorite. It wasn't on the menu but it is a nice light and delicious salad.

Trattoria da Giuseppe: Good value, tasty food

We were surprised to see so many restaurants still open at 11 pm on a Saturday night, but were happy to be able to find some food after arriving from the airport. Not only was Giuseppe's open, it was packed! It took a while to get seated which gave us time to people watch - to our surprise, the place was packed with people of all ages, from babies on up! Two couples with their babies arrived after midnight even!

The food at Giuseppe's was great - highly recommend the antipasto di casa, you get 12 separate small plates of all kinds of local delicacies of the chef's choice; also the gnocchi were divine.

The house wine and beer are incredibly cheap - for the two of us, a huge meal for under 30 euros.

Brindisi - Ferry port to Greece

This is a very good place to get the ferry to Greece. I do not have any pictures anymore of this area but I do have many fond memories traveling with my NATO friends.
