Gallipoli was built as a fortress city and to make it even more secure Gallipoli people built houses with large yards where family life took place. Often houses are more beautiful inside then outside, the architecture provided many balconies, terraces, stairs and decorative arches ....someone have a garden too..... we must enter into a yard to see the real house of Gallipoli

The NASSE are a old tool for fishing, are baskets of natural material (reed - giunco) that are placed into the sea to catch fish .... There are various shape, depending on the type of fish you want to catch.
During the days where it's not possible to fish is easy to see, outside the door of the house, sailors adjust pots or fishing nets ... in recent years, many architects take nasse as lamps or as decorative elements.
