clipper lobster by tomhoward The Clipper is located just off the main road, to the back of the ship yard on Porto Cervo marina. This was a great little restaurant and I can't fault any of the meals we had there... it made a welcome change to the hotel food we were getting bored of towards the end of the holiday. All the usual suspects are on the menu.. shrimps, tuna, sea bass etc as well as a couple of meat options for all you land lubbers. After a mix up with the lobster portion, we ended up paying twice as much as expected (you can't look too shocked when the bill comes - this is a billionaires playground, so pretend you're shocked how cheap it is $$), but we came back anyway cos it was so good. Service is excellent.
Don't think you will be disappointed with anything you order here. House red wine was the best we tasted throughout Italy. by sourbugger There is one unmistakable whiff that ensures you have entered a good pizza restaurant in Italy - and that is the comforting embers of a real wood-buring oven. The 'Da Nico' restaurant offered more than just pizzas, but I was quite happy to stick with their superb version of the classic 'Four seasons' pizza. Prices are very good (around 7-8 Euro) for an individual pizza, although other dishes could be quite a bit more (see warnings and dangers tip on Fish). Situated on the main road through this attractive village, it is worth planning to come through this way at a mealtime if you can. by gabriellefox Sardinia has a plethora of great restaurants as you can imagine, which suit every taste and every budget. My rule of thumb when looking for a good restaurant when you find yourself in unfamiliar territory is eat where the locals eat. Fresh produce straight from the farm or sea to the table.
Fish dishes are exceptional as is the pasta. Salad nicoise is great if you are watching your figure. Leave a Comment Theme: OtherDirections: Ask the locals to recommend something - you cant beat eating alfresco.

I enjoyed a great meal every time out. The combination of seafood and pasta worked well for me. Very important that you understand that many places serve large meals during midday and pizza at night. I had to adjust my eating schedule accordingly.
The seafood spaghetti was worth the wait. Fine spaghetti pasta with a yummy tomato sauce and shellfish...definitely my favorite on this trip. The pizza is also great if you like a thin crust. For dessert; try the tiramisu. A meal is an event so be prepared to spend some time and enjoy the experience. Costs were very reasonable...just remember that you pay for refills just like most places in Europe. Our first visit to Chili Pepper's in Palau Sardegna (Itlay) was in the summer of 2001. When we visited again in 2004 we noticed a huge improvement in the quality of the food as it became more like what we experience in Mexican restaurants here in the US. In our 2 week visit in 2004 we ate here at least 3 times! We'll be visiting again this summer and expect even greater improvements in what we found to be a wonderful Mexican restaurant.
Taco's and Berrittos. The sausa was excellent too. Leave a Comment Theme: MexicanPrice: US$11-20 » Currency ConverterComparison: less expensive than averageAddress: Via la Galatea, Palau (Sardegna) ItalyPhone: 0789 705833-706947

Authentic Tex-Mex in Italy!? The owner is retired from the US navy. The place difinitely has the feel of a Mexican Cantina. It's a nice break from Italian food, since we were there for a month. Want mexican beer you got it here! Good food great atmosphere.
Fried chicken tenders. A hard to get item in Italy. The beef burrito was very good also. Leave a Comment
