  • Most popular in Cannigione

Gastronomia-RosticceriaSeems to be very popular. We were really lucky to get a table without reservation and people queue worse than in the US to get a table.Food was great and cheap! Very tasty appetizers then lots of seafood and fish. The Sardinian gnoghettis.

  • Mexican food in Sardinia

Authentic Tex-Mex in Italy!? The owner is retired from the US navy. The place difinitely has the feel of a Mexican Cantina. It's a nice break from Italian food, since we were there for a month. Want mexican beer you got it here! Good food great atmosphere. Fried chicken tenders. A hard to get item in Italy. The beef burrito was very good also.

  • Restaurant with a view

We had no recommendations, simply pulled up and this place was open which, when we were there, was a big plus. The fact that there was a lovely view made me more enthusiastic. We had the place to ourselves and the walls were decorated with basketry and art of a local nature that lent a nice ambience to the place. The lady who ran the place was...

  • Sailor's Bar - Very Friendly Great Food

Great low-key spot. Dinner was quite good. The energy at the bar was high. We met the guy who runs the lighthouses on the island, along w/ friends who all were sailors/fishermen. Of course we met the men...being mostly women. Very friendly, just don't stay too late gals.

  • Getting better with age

Our first visit to Chili Pepper's in Palau Sardegna (Itlay) was in the summer of 2001. When we visited again in 2004 we noticed a huge improvement in the quality of the food as it became more like what we experience in Mexican restaurants here in the US. In our 2 week visit in 2004 we ate here at least 3 times! We'll be visiting again this summer...

  • A must when in Santa Teresa

This is a locals place, at least during the off season. We saw local workers eating here along with intellectual types dressed in Benetton. The food is inspired and delicious. We had a lovely lunch here.

  • The best choice possible

This nice restaurant on the main street in Muravera had a wide range of Pasta and Pizza dishes and superb quality food at more than fair prices. It was a privilege to eat there - great food and friendly staff.

  • Just leave me here

There is one unmistakable whiff that ensures you have entered a good pizza restaurant in Italy - and that is the comforting embers of a real wood-buring oven. The 'Da Nico' restaurant offered more than just pizzas, but I was quite happy to stick with their superb version of the classic 'Four seasons' pizza.Prices are very good (around 7-8 Euro) for...

  • An Italian Steak House

Looks like a steak house/bar in the US. Good steaks and pasta very friendly staff and owner. After eating you get a free shot. The owner must have liked the way a put away the "Jager" because he gave me a ball cap with resturant's logo on it. This was something my son and his navy buddys had never heard of. T bone steak. Very large well prepared.

  • great pizza

The best pizzia we ate in Italy. Take out only. Nick Roby has the art of pizza making perfected. Prices are very reasonable. Located just across the street from the ferry landing on La Maddalena Island. The meat lovers pizza.

  • Great Food But Know the Hours

I enjoyed a great meal every time out. The combination of seafood and pasta worked well for me. Very important that you understand that many places serve large meals during midday and pizza at night. I had to adjust my eating schedule accordingly. The seafood spaghetti was worth the wait. Fine spaghetti pasta with a yummy tomato sauce and...

  • Shiver me timbers

The Clipper is located just off the main road, to the back of the ship yard on Porto Cervo marina. This was a great little restaurant and I can't fault any of the meals we had there... it made a welcome change to the hotel food we were getting bored of towards the end of the holiday. All the usual suspects are on the menu.. shrimps, tuna, sea bass...

  • On the Boat - Lady Anne of...

On the Boat - Lady Anne of FifeI love being spoilt rotten at times. You were left to relax in the lap of luxury. Absoloutly everything was first class and cooked to perfection by the on board chef.

  • Sardinia has a plethora of...

Sardinia has a plethora of great restaurants as you can imagine, which suit every taste and every budget. My rule of thumb when looking for a good restaurant when you find yourself in unfamiliar territory is eat where the locals eat.Fresh produce straight from the farm or sea to the table. Fish dishes are exceptional as is the pasta. Salad nicoise...
