We found this place by luck. We had been searching for a Sunday lunch for 2 hours after a morning on Etna and had reached Aci Reale and everything was closed. We headed S on SS114 to go down to the seacoast. This was the first left turn , a serpentine road. Even tho it was 2;30 the locals had not finished but there was a table. Fish aplenty in an iced display case (and icecream for desert). By the time we finished our "lunch" it was dark outside. The picture is the Acireale coast North from the restaurant heights looking down and out.
Favorite Dish: Fish and pasta in squid ink , what else would you want? How about a fresh grilled swordfish steak their way? And of course espresso.

It's a very nice italian / sicilian restaurant with a lovely and welcoming owner, that serves excellent food. The restaurant is known among celebrities and the prices aren't too high compared to the quality of the food.

On the main hub of the town Piazza del Duomo one can find a lot of nice cafes. You should take a walk along the main town artery - Corso Umberto I going to the North and Corso Vittorio Emanuele to the south with a lot of fine buildings, shops and gelaterie which do honour to the fame of the local ice cream.
