Postale 17: Not bad as it looks
It is at the foot of Erice town which is just across the cable car station. We were hungry after a long walk in Erich Old Town and found this restaurant before the cable car ride. It seemed an ordinary touristic restaurant but it was not bad. The Italian food was good and the service was quick.
Favorite Dish: Pizza, salad and other Italian local dishes
La Pentolaccia: Peaceful, well furnished, very good food
All plates we tasted were greatly prepared, based on local recipes well known and correctedly interpreted. No excess, not any unjustified luxury. Fresh ingredients and really cooked food. Good bread and good oil. Wines...good choice of good quality.
Favorite Dish: The three of us had several different dishes and we appreciated all of them.

Monte San Giuliano: A Must in Erice!
It's all good, especially the seafood. Couple the great food with a warm ambiance and an attentive staff and you'll be very glad you came to this restaurant. The main entrance is a bit tricky to find, but Erice is such a special town that you'll enjoy yourself locating it.
Favorite Dish: Try the Pasta con le Sarde (pasta with sardines & fennel)...superb! Fresh pasta, fresh sardines, fresh fennel, fresh everything!
Ulisse: Don't miss the Couscous alla Trapanese!
Nice restaurant and very friendly staff. Although we arrived 30 minutes before opening time, we were invited to make ourselves comfortable. We had couscous alla Trapanese (our favorite!) and strozzapreti with botarga (tunafish eggs). For a "secondo piatto" (main course) we both choose the pesce spade (swordfish). Because it was St. Joseph's day, they had delicious Sfingioni San Giuseppe for dessert. From the wine list we choose the Glicine from Corvo (white wine). We had a great time!
