I went to a number of restaurants at lunchtime in Marsala to be advised that they could not offer a Menu Turistica. I became suspicious when I noticed that locals were being offered a different menu. I calculated that to purchase a la Carte at lunchtime in Marsala would have cost 4 times what I had spent the previous evening in Palermo.
