Gusto S R L: Modica Self Service Restaurant
This modern, self service restaurant on the way into Modica is open every lunch time for hot and cold food. We have stopped off here while out on business for a good lunch and also when we have been on a day out ourselves. The other restaurant clients were a mixture of business and leisure groups, couples and individuals.
The Gusto website states that they accommodate coach parties, it is a large building with table seating on two floors and the cloakroom facilities in the basement.
Disabled access and a lift to all the floors.
Favorite Dish: All the food looked good. You can select the pasta and rice dishes which will be finished as you wait. Potato dishes and vegetable dishes are served for you, and the meat and fish are cooked to order. Different salads and side dishes can be picked up and put on your tray.
Fruit and desserts too numerous to mention.
Everything seemed to be very reasonably priced:
Small bottles of water €0.60
Bread roll €0.30
Pasta dish prices varied on whether it was a starter or main portion
The menu of the day was written on the glass screens in front of the food.
I'll add my photos when I locate them.

A putia ro vinu: Can`t get more local than this!
On Via Pisacane, this osteria offers a fixed menu with choice. Typical Modican cuisine and local wine. Booking is advised as it is a favourite with the Modicani who come to celebrate here. Some evenings the owners play local music to accompany your meal.
Favorite Dish: Ravioli with tomato sauce
PIZZA PIU: DELICIOUS PIZZA
I really enjoyed the pizza that I had hereeven though we ordered pepperoni [which was on the menu] but when it came it was green peppers. It was a take away pizza shop but it had tables and chairs on a patio at the front.
