Ship/Boat, Palermo

It is a convenient way to get to Palermo and bring your car along.
There are two companies offering the connection services:
Grandi Navi Veloci offers three connections:
.From Genoa, daily, duration: 20 h.
From Livorno (Leghorn) three times a week; duration: 19 h.
From Rome Civitavecchia, daily; duration: 12 h.
Tirrenia connects Palermo and Naples every day; duration: app.10 h

Try to reach an island as it was done in the beginning: by sea! Now there are huige and comfortable ships supporting your effort. You may leave from Genova, Cagliari and Napoli, and your car can come along.

I've gone in Palermo by ship, leaving from Genova.
In this way tre trip is longer, about 22 h, but it's really a wonderful way to trip...!
In other way the plane is really more fast..!
You'll arrive directly at Falcone e Borsellino Airport.
