This castle has a particular history bound to its name, that means "the escaped woman".
Recently renovated its not always open to the public. If you plan to visit it would be best to contact the local tourist office to get up to date information on opening days and hours.

A tourist train runs around Ragusa Ibla frequently. I think it starts in the Car Park at the entrance. We prefer to walk but next time I am there I'll get proper details.
