Even if there are buses coming here, it would be much much better to rent a car. Mostly of the places with the better view or the most interesting Trattoria or the nicer hikes are hard to reach without a car. Get a good map and just drive around, the scene will change at every turn and give you a sight of vineyard, olive tree, fruit tree and forest.

Rocca Pendice is a rough rocks that stick out in the middle part of the hills. It is the historical training rock face for the Padova's mountain climbing school. Since I was a kid I remember looking up the cliff with my binocula to watch the climbers slowly go up.
It is not a easy climb so dont go there just by youself, it need the proper skills and equipment.

Favorite thing: This imponent Abbey have been here since the XI century. It lies on the foot of the Colli Euganei, driving from Padova to Teolo you will see it on your left after you pass Feriole and San Biagio villages.
The benedectine monks live in it. It is a famous place for ancient book restoration and for the honey production. Even if the monks population is significantly reduced this place is still one of the most important of the area.

Fondest memory: My grandmother used to take me here very often. My memories are about the Abbeys but more, I like to go back to remember her and the stories she liked to tell me about the place. She was fond of the place as she used to live nearby and vidited it since she was born.
