The Obstmarkt = Fruit Market is such a colorful sight to see - and it is not only fruit that you can buy there, but also vegetables, cheese and the famous smoked ham. Apart from the delicious goods there is also some culture to admire:

The "Lauben" or "Portici" are arcades that have lots of wonderful shops inside: fashion, books, souvenirs and handicraft - so this makes it the perfect shopping area of Bolzano. The arcades give shade during the hot summer months, but also protection against rain or snow in the colder seasons.
Even if you do not want to buy anything, do not hesitate to go inside those shops. We, for instance, went inside the wonderful handicraft shop and I was surprised at all the stories above the ground floor. Wonderful atmosphere, too! Leave a Comment Theme: Other
