Favorite thing: This is the main square in Riva del Garda. Here you can see the town hall built in the XV century joined to the Palazzo Pretorio (XIV century). Opposite this palace there is the Apponale tower. It was built in 1220 and raised in 1555. It was built to defend the town, used to store salt and grain and as prison. During WWI it was an observation post.

Piazza III Novembre is partly surrounded by XIV century porticoes.

Art work every where you look

Favorite thing: Riva has some nice small streets with lovely facades. And a big church, which I would have loved to vist but too bad it was closed fer the day.

Fondest memory: Italia is stuffed with art, their way of living almost is an art.
But for me as a photographer travelling in Italy can be like torture for almost everywhere I see something that asks for being photographed.
This head I saw in Riva, it is at the big church I think.
