Favorite thing: This street is located near the building called "El Canton". Via del Suffragio has porticoes, various shops, some cafes, a couple of eateries and a restaurant (see tip).
Favorite thing:
This beautiful palace has four floors.
Every floor is quite small; less than 20 mq.
This palace lies at the corner of Via del Suffragio and Via San Marco.
Favorite thing: This is part of the frescoed walls in the street leading to the main piazza. It depicts dignitaries of the town watching a parade.
Favorite thing:
Representing St. Mark and St. Luke (lion, ox, knotted columns) in the Piazza Adamo d'Arogno.
These Romanesque-style representations were some of the best I had ever come across of their kind.
Fondest memory: At certain places in Trento, there, perched high in the sky, is a round building. A significant structure in terms of its position let alone its style it is a monument to the fallen of World War II.
Fondest memory: From any angle the piazza is impressive. Here we can see the Cathedral of San Vigilio and the Palazzo Pretorio, formerly an archbishop's residence that now houses the Diocesan Museum.
