    Medieval mastery

Favorite thing: Representing St. Mark and St. Luke (lion, ox, knotted columns) in the Piazza Adamo d'Arogno.
These Romanesque-style representations were some of the best I had ever come across of their kind.

    It's a bird, it's a plane, no, it's a monument

    A standout building

Fondest memory: At certain places in Trento, there, perched high in the sky, is a round building. A significant structure in terms of its position let alone its style it is a monument to the fallen of World War II.

Fondest memory: From any angle the piazza is impressive. Here we can see the Cathedral of San Vigilio and the Palazzo Pretorio, formerly an archbishop's residence that now houses the Diocesan Museum.
