    Beautiful Women in Italy

    by Dean2006 Updated Sep 9, 2006 5 reviews

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Fondest memory: When I first walked around the cities of Italy, I was taking photos of all the art and sculptures. I finally couldn't help but notice all the works of art that were the young Italian women all around me. Speaking from a guy's prospective, Italian women are "hot". I mean thay are consistantly pretty, skinny, fit, and have beautiful dark eyes. "Older" women too. I can't figure why this is other than they do seem to walk everywhere, so they stay in shape. Also, they are not afraid to dress for the hot weather if you know what I mean. They also seem to have a certain stylish flair. The women seem independant too, riding their bicycles or shopping by themselves or rarely with a friend.

I noticed in Florence women's shops carrying upscale merchandise (bring a skinny waist and a fat wallet). I have to say most of the women shoppping there could have been models. (That is not usually the case). I just couldn't stop thinking, this just can't be, and this just isn't fair! (that they are here and I have to leave in two days). Anyways, if you are a guy, you will not be dissapointed in the beautiful women of Italy. Best place to people watch probably the Piazza della Republica, but anywhere is great.

    Loggia dei Lanzi

by maritagnes Written Jul 10, 2003 520 reviews

Favorite thing: A crowd of people sitting on the stairs of the "Loggia dei Lanzi" - which got it's name after Cosimo I's lifeguards.
Loggia dei Lanzi is covered with beautiful sculptures - along the inner wall the statues of Roman priestesses.
The statue visible in the photo is of Persevs - (Cellinis statue from 1554) - cutting Medusa's head.

  • Walk around Signoria Square ...

Favorite thing: Walk around Signoria Square - a museum in the open air.

Fondest memory: I will especially miss the taste of the Italian ice-cream (Italy is the motherland of ice-cream) and the bronze boar - the talisman of Florence. If you want to come back, you must cajole the boar - insert a coin into its mouth and it must fall down through the rods of the iron-barred hole.

Favorite thing: Absolutely lovely .. women in the police force of Florence. Taking business maybe too serious, but those unstylish white hats make the fun part :) Nice appearance though and nice uniform.

    Piazza della Republica

    Piazza della Republica

Favorite thing: Once the city's forum in Roman times, is the largest, most impressive piazza in Florence...also the newest. It´s a good place to people-watch or enjoy a pre-lunch or early evening aperitivo.-
