Favorite thing: I love all of Florence because after taking my History of Western Art course where we started with Florence.... Well, I fell in love with the city. When I actually had the chance to visit it, I discovered actual reason why I enjoy the city so much. The last time I was there, I went with three friends who didn't want their pictures taken at first. As a result, I have loads of photos of me being stupid.
Fondest memory: One of the greatest memories of Florence is when I was waiting to take a picture with these guys. The lady ahead of me, in line for a photo, was an older German tourist. She smiled, had her photo taken, and then walked off without giving them any coins. They started crying and crying. When I gave them my coins, they immediately fell in love with me. LOL... Money talks!

Fondest memory: Frequently you will be interrupted by street performers in Florence. That is, you will suddenly hear loud drums or some instrument to draw your attention. They seem to be performers, but their performance sometimes is not that spectacular or exciting. So there's no need for you to go watch them every time.

Fondest memory: ...This one looked not too happy when I took his photo...or her photo....but he or she did it convincingly....He ! He !...
Well, we don't have to ask their permission to take their photos...If we put a coin, even some coins from our country, they wouldn't know would they ?....Maybe after we long gone...but that would be cruel !...I wouldn't do that...
Once in a while, they would make some 'faces' at us....but it's part of their 'performing' lives....

Fondest memory: ...I have been to Europe a few times now & always love watching all these Street Performers...or should we call them Beggars ?..Sorry, I don't mean that in a bad way...because what they do is also a part of living by giving entertainment to passers-by...
Here are 2 guys...one is painted white & the other painted gold...
..but they are not that good in their performance because they don't look like statues...but normal human beings looking for some fun & err, easy money....

Fondest memory: Another great memory of Florence was meeting Dante. What a friendly charming man he was, only sorry that his books are so difficult to read. The day I met him he was standing in front of the Uffizi and Raphael was with him.
