Noir - Ex Capocaccia: Chilling Out

    Capocaccia

This bar changed his name and setting a few monts ago. Now it is called Noir, because it is all black inside.
The owners are the same, so basically the description of the place doesn't change.

In summer everybody in Florence seem to flock to this hip & trendy bar that overlooks Lungarno Corsini and offers a beautiful view of the sunset on the Arno river. Especially on Sunday's evening, people coming back from the seaside gather here to drink and talk about the week-end. Nice place if you want to meet locals.

    interesting ceiling design in capoccacia

Cappocacia is one of the places where the beautiful people hang out. It's good for people watching and chatting with locals. The bar itsef if prety small, and of course no smoking is allowed so there is more atmosphere outside than in.

The cocktails are around 7 euros each. Soft drinks are about 4 euros.

the bar has a good atmosphere most nights but Sunday nights are the best. It' s gets so crowded that the DJ plays outside the bar!

Beteween 7 and 9 pm, they serve apertivi , platters of hot food as well as slices meats, cheeses, and pizza slices. Sometimes
the staff bring rounds cups of gelato, too.

Dress Code: Smart casual attire is fine.

This is amongst the most popular bars in Florence with 20 soemthing Italians. Anyone looking for the authentic experience should go here. They are nice to foreigners, and there is dancing, as well as a great aperitivo (cocktail/appetizer/happy hour) here. Good music, beautifully decorated, and few Americans.

Dress Code: Look sharp or confident in whatever you wear.
