    Il santino: Wine aperitif

by fgfi Updated Dec 30, 2008

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Il Santino is the young brother of Il Santo bevitore. It is a sort of deli shop where people can by cheeses, ham, wines, and all sort of Gatsro delicacy.
It is a great place for a quick lunch (daily selection of soups, mini eggplant parmigiana, anchovies in oil, liver pate), but at aperitif time it is even more magic. The ambience is cozy and warm (only 4 little tables available). It is a good spot for wine, french and italian cheeses, and of course prosciutto before catching dinner reservations.
