Pitti Palace & Boboli Gardens, Florence
Originally built for the Pitti family in the late 15th century, this palace houses several museums, but I didn't go to any of them. It looked impressive from the outside though!
Beautiful, vast garden area at “d’other side of the Arno” – Oltrarno. You can get lost in the gardens for hours, and admire the views, lakes and statues.
Palazzo Pitti, Galleria Palatina
Deffinitly one of my favorites: A great palace with a wonderfull colection of paintings from Tiziano, Raffaelo aso.
In a.D. 1620 the facade was enhanced 3 times. For some centuries the palace was visited by grand dukes, quenn of Etruria and king Vittorio Emanuele when firenze was capital city!
The Palazzo Pitti and the Boboli Gardens. There are some wonderful works of art in the Palazzo. Tour them, then chill out in the gardens. You'll need a day at least.
