Some MAPS that you may find useful.
The best way to visit florence is using your feet (to walk or by bicycle).
Alternative: You can use the ATAF buses (check the line Map).

Places to Check ( non tourist prices!):
For a Cappuccino and a good Icecream
    - Cafe de 900 (via Borgo Ognissanti)

    To have a nice Dinner
    - Pizzaria Yellow BAR, Via del Proconsolo 39.

    To have a great drink
    - The williams, Via Antonio Magliabechi.
    - The Old Stove, Piazza di San Giovanni

To have lunch just buy those sandwiches in a local shop.
Avoid the restaurants near Ponte Vecchio.

Firenze (center) Bus Map - online

    by ABQ_Hugh Updated Aug 31, 2013

One thing I have always liked about paper transport maps is that [depending on the scale] you usually get to see the entire area covered.

However, one trend I have noticed with online mapping tools, they often show only one grid of the map at a time, To me, this is not very helpful,

Therefore, I have created a simple HTML file that loads the grid images for the Florence city bus map, The GREEN rectangle identifies the portions of the bus map that are covered. It;s just the very center of Florence

To see the very center of Florence, a grid of the map bounded by Strozzi Palace to the north, Santa Croce to the east, Santa Maria Novella station to the west, and Pitti Palace to the south, just use

Not having a website, and it not being possible to save an HTML file to VirtualTourist, I have included the HTML code below, I don't own the images, the grid images are actually on the Florence publlic transport website...all the HTML file does is display them. Also, clicking on a grid will open the PDF version of the page.

Copy and paste the HTML code below into a text file, naming it something like FlorenceBus.htm (For Notepad users, use "save as type: All Files (*.*), not Text Documents (*.txt)
