The name of the ferry company is Moby lines. It's the same company which goes from Livorno harbour to Corse and Sardinia, but with bigger ferries of course

It was the 1st time in my life that I used ferry as a transportation. We went there by Moby Love and back by Moby Lally. They were both very modern ferries.
We came to Portoferraio (Isola d'Elba) from Portepiombino, a small town on the continent.

The only way to go to Elba island is to take the boat. There are many different companies that go up and down from/to Elba. It's possible to start the trip to Elba from Livorno's harbour or from Piombino harbour. You can choose to go there by Toremar company or by Moby lines boats. On the net every companies has its site:

Poor guys! Obviously they spent another tough day at Elba. When the evening came they all felt asleep on the ferry. In a cafe!!!

We spent all day on Isola d'Elba and we returned to the mainland in the evening.
We got the chance to see this beautiful sunset from Moby Lally.

After hour of nice drive on the calm sea we arrived to Portoferraio, a small port town on Isola d'Elba.
The photograph was taken at the exit of Moby Love and you can alredy see the town in the back.
