Favorite thing: Visit San Gimignano,A beautiful old hill village with narrow streets and a beautiful piazza with a well in the middle, looked like a film set, but do go ethere late in the day after 4.00 when all the tour buses have gone or better still stay the night.
Getting there is easier by bus as there is no train station in San Gimignano.Nearest train station Poggibonsi.
Fondest memory: The Cathederal of Collegiata at San Gimignano, has the most fantastic frescos covering all the walls on the inside.

Favorite thing: Follow the hiking route (actually there's only one) and visit the five villages along: Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Venazza and Monterosso. The whole trip needs 3 hours and the scenery is absolutely beautiful. Although have to walk up some steep stairs, but generally the trail is flat and very comfortable.
Fondest memory: Lying on the beach, eating a cone under the warm sun....being a company of the lazy cats around and looking at the colourful houses....I had a feeling that I would love to stay in Venazza for my life!

Favorite thing: There are beaches that are very beautiful.
Lots of Rich and famous people travel to the private beaches along this coast.
The Photo was taken at about 6.30AM during early summer months.
You can also see the poppies all over the Tuscan Reigon. It is so pretty that you will just fall in love with the nature.
I am planning my at leat once a year trip to the Tuscan Village.
Fondest memory: Just the beauty of the uscan country side, Food People, what more the bright sun and beautiful dawn and the dusk.
Great place to live and unwind your stressful life style.

Favorite thing: Relax....a really nice small city! In opposite to Firenze there are normal prizes and the people normal smooth like in Italy!
Don´t miss to drive southern the coast (direction Cecina) to the unbelievable nice coasts (white sand, black sand, red sand, hard rock-cliffs, nice beaches with old castles...)
