Cafe/bar on the corner of Coro Italia and Piazza Vittori Emanuele ll, obviously very popular with locals & students for after-work drinks/coffee with friends and so on.
A range of drinks and snacks of various types, pleasant service, tables outside and also an outside sitting & smoking area (with heaters) accessed from inside.
Useful place to know about, as it's on the 'main drag' from the station to central Pisa/the Campo dei Miracoli but not right in the tourist heart.

I'm not suggesting the food here is anything special, but (as a single female) I found it to be a very comfortable place to eat. Staff were friendly, coffee, wine and food perfectly ok and a heck of a lot better than one would get from a similar type of place in the UK.
There are wicker chairs on the arcaded outside area: a good place to sit and watch the ever-fascinating Italian traffic.
As it's on the way to/from the railway station to Pisa centre and the Campo dei Miracoli it makes a good refuelling stop. It's also very convenient for anyone staying in the nearby hotels.

As you'll soon discover there aren't many options other than Italian as far as cuisine goes. The Italians don't seem to embrace ethnic variety as much as other western countries. So when you find one it feels like you've struck gold.
This restaurant is just off the Corsa d'Italia on Piazza Gambacorti
Favorite Dish: It was all pretty good. Falafels, curry chicken and potatoes and some other dumplings I don't recall.

This small store 100m down a side street from the Leaving Tower itself has a vast selection of flavoured ice cream which just screams to be tasted. A large cone supports three scoops or flavours and will melt in your mouth while you walk the last few meters to the base of the tower.
Favorite Dish: Lemon ice cream

As you refer to my other travel page, I always looking for a spaghetti alla scoglio...since that Pisa near with a sea (not very close), I assumed they have a good seafood. This restaurant located near with Piazza Dei Miracoli. Only 5 mins walk you will arrive in this restaurant. There a many restaurant located at this area, but as my observation, this restaurant have so many custmore compare with other restaurant. I ordered spaghetti (as usual) and with Coke, its only cost me less than 15 euro, and I enough until a night.

The restaurant Turiddo is located on the street going from Piazza Dei Cavalieri - Via D. Cavalca 64. We were searching for another restaurant in this street - La Mescita (Via D. Cavalca 2) for a lunch, but it was closed. The main room of Turiddo can not be seen from the street, but it's quite big. The food is cooked very quickly and it's very tasty. As it's common for all italian restaurants - meat is very medium, but fish and pasta are really good. The stuff is rather silent but friendly. And the prices are nice to see in the bill :-)
Favorite Dish: Pasta with salmon

Excellent chinese , good surroundings , very near to the Leaning Tower on the Via C.Cammeo at the start of the market stalls.
Cheap , good service , and everything thing you'd expect to get at a Chinese Restaurant on the Menu. Highly recommended if looking for an alternative to Pizza and Pasta!
Favorite Dish: Try the Hot and Spicy Soup! Chicken is nice in Sweet & Sour sauce.
I had spring roll , soup , main course , ice cream and a drink. Approx Euros12. It opens at 6pm.

This is, without question, the best restaurant in Pisa. Famous for it's seafood, Vecchi Macelli has been around for years. Located in the the city centre, its best to make reservations. Closed on Wednesdays.
Favorite Dish: Seabass with onions and oysters

This restaurant is 100 metres from the leaning tower, so if you sit outside you can admire the view! The service was good, the food was tasty and reasonably priced. It isn't gourmet but this place delivers quite good value for money, I believe.
Favorite Dish: Pizza with mozarella di bufala
