This is a beautiful square on the Lungarno. There is one of the oldest churches in Pisa in the middle of a beautiful garden, with tall trees, right by the river Arno. It is a fantastic place, which should not be missed.

Visit the towns when you get there! Don't just pass away! I especially like Monarola...it's so quite that you can even hear the bell ring from the small church at the peak. Take some rest there...everything is so nice there...

Cinqe Terra - the 5 hillside towns on the coast just south of Genoa.
hike between the towns, you'll have earned yourself a stop at a bar! nicely laid out trails for the most part. I am sorry my picture doesn't do it justice.
