Favorite thing: Pontedera is a place I saw accidentally in a brochure that I found in Pisa.
It was a few km off the road from Pisa to Siena.
Fondest memory: I never had a VESPA myself, BUT plenty of my travel-dreams had to do with such cheap means of transportation.
Herbert Tichy from Austria - who travelled through Asia by motorbike, and of course Heinrich Harrer - HE is the one who actually was the real person behind Brad Pitt in the movie "7 years in Tibet" and became the teacher of the Dalai Lamah during WW II.
