This small car is one of my favorite exhibits.
It was used for a journey of 6 months from Lisbon/Portugal to Bejing/China , and when you take a closer look, it even has a bit of Asia's dust on it...
;-))
There seemed to be no extra-equipment to the ordinary car, except the watertank, that I will show on another picture, under "Local customs" as it has some sort of a " natural cooling-system"

They even show a "flying VESPA" .
It was constructed in 1967 for a movie called " Dick Smart, Agent 2007 " starring Richard Wyler, Margaret Lee and Rosanna Tapados .
At least in the movie it was able to FLY like a helicopter, DIVE like a submarine and RACE on the road like a super-Vespa !

Ape Pentaro fire truck might be the smallest firefighter in the world.
This vehicle was used until 2002 by the firebrigade of the Cocirini Coats company .
Big enough to offer one seat for the driver and a lot of space for the necessary equipment.
Easy to manoevre even to the smallest and most remote places inside the production-halls, where a firebrigade of ordinary size would not be able to go.

This kind of Vespa was used for plenty of years for transportations of goods inside the small cities and streets of Italy.
Easy to get through small streets, easy to park directely with the motorbike on the market.
When travelling through Italy you will see plenty of vehicels like this on the weekly markets.
Ape 150 cassone was powered by a 125cc motor until 1952 and 150cc afterwards.

This is one of the first motorscooters you will see inside the museum.
It was produced only once , just as an "eye-catcher" for a motor-show in Paris in 1972 .
It is more than 2 meters high and drivers have to be very careful, when driving it.

Isn't it a really timelessly elegant means of transportation ??
Globetrotters of the world, simply pack your stuff into the side-wagon and GOOOO !!
Such a combination reminded me a lot of Herbert Tichy's motorbike, and when HE was able to travel thay way, why wouldn't I ???

This is a high-speed motorscooter - but somehow it looks more like an airplane.
But when you click on the picture, you may see that it is simply the aerodynamic construction around a motorbike.

Plenty of different products were built by Piaggio.
This train of the time after WW I is the first vehicle that you will see upon arrival in the museum.
THIS and a few more exhibits are shown outside of the area, where you have to pay a small entrance-fee.

These Rikshas were built once as an easy and cheap transportation for the cities in Italy, where the streets are mostly too narrow for real taxis.
Free aircondition included ;-))
