Radda in Chianti is a well-preserved hill town. It was the closest (small) town to the villa we rented for a week in June 2010, so we visited there a couple of times.

We drove into Radda looking for frescoes and found them . . . and a lot more. What a charming village. The views are fabulous; the people are incredibly friendly and the frescoes are excellent.
