There is not much else to do around the area other than visit the springs. The water is a constant 37.5 C, and continually runs down from the hill where it bubbles up. Before it gets to the public section where visits are free, the spring is a private spa complex that is large. It costs about 7 Euro to visit that for a day. The runoff from that spa then goes down a stream to the public sector, about 1/2 mile away. In warm water you get creatures-like leeches. They are there for sure and get in your shorts. The "beach" is a small area and not many comfortable places to sit. There is no changing area, so people change in the cars in the parking lot. Don't stare.

I really covered this in the Saturnia page but it's cool enough to reiterate. I have to say the 1 of the 2 coolest things I have found in a Lonely Planet travel Guide (the other is a mud Volcano near Cartagena Colombia) I guess these guys do do their research to find the off the beeten path places.
These Mineral waters spill into circular pools that are free to enjoy and very fun.

This is not one of your super modern, high-tech tourist resort type hot springs, just the basic hot spring, surrounded by rocky ground.
