Siena

Favorite thing: Another photo, taken from one of the view-points on our way to the top of Torre del Mangia.
You can see just few buildings with the Duomo's Belltower in the center.

San Domenico & Area

Favorite thing: This photo was taken on the top of Torre del Mangia.
You can see how narrow are streets between old buildings in the center.
On the left you can see majestic San Domenico barn-like Gothic church.

Palazzo Pubblico

Favorite thing: The gracefal Gothic town hall was completed in 1342.
At 102 meters, the belltower is the second highest medieval tower to be built in Italy. Going to the top of it is highly recommended.

The Dome

Favorite thing: If completed, the nave would have measured 50 meters in length and 30 meters in breadth.
Our guide told us that the Siena Duomo would have been one of the greatest in the world.

Favorite thing: One of the interesting things about Duomo's Belltower is that each tier has one window fewer than the floor above.
