What to buy: Figurice od majolike, dakako

What to buy: Stolnjaci i salvete su prekrasni.
What to pay: Nije jeftino ali vrijedi utrošenog novca.

If the owner happens to be there, ask to see the Forum floor he has in his basement - amazing!
What to buy: Wonderful local art and ceramics - very reasonable prices (at least when I was there a few years ago).

All along the side streets you'll find little shops with ceramics and religious souvenirs. The people are very helpful and sweet. Most shops will ship your purchase if you'd like (though possibly for an added charge). The prices of ceramics are much lower than in the cities, so take advantage!
What to buy: Hand-painted ceramics and religious souvenirs depicting Sts. Francis and Claire.
What to pay: wide range for all wallets

There are a lot of little souvenir shops around Assisi, where they sell gifts and things that have to do with St. Francis. All these stores have Franciscan crosses - the one shaped like a capital T, and these are popular items among visitors.
What to buy: Franciscan crosses and other religious items.

This is the main gift shop for the Basillica. What's nice about it is this is where the priests and nuns of Assisi also do their souvenir shopping, so it kind has an authentic ambience.
What to buy: This gift shop is filled with wonderful books and souvenirs. The prices are good. They have many art books on the lives of the artists of Assisi. They also have some nice posters of the city along with religious souvenirs.
What to pay: Prices are better than in the rest of Assisi
