 Festival delle Nazioni 2005 by Ciambella
The town's summer program is the most extensive in Umbria. From July to September, the organizers put out between 35 and 40 concerts. A great majority of them are free. The music covers a large spectrum: rock, pop, alternative, folk, ethnic, jazz, blues, and classical. Tiferno Blues is among the opening events of the program and Festival delle Nazioni is the finale.
During Estate In Città, there is something for everyone almost every night of the week: children theatre and storytellers for the little ones, drama, comedy and musical for the younger adults, historical plays for the older group, and ballet, opera and chamber music orchestra for ones who have more serious minds and longer attention spans! :)
For three months, the stage is set semi-permanently on Piazza Matteoti, where the large part of the entertainment happens. Just about everyone who lives in town and the surrounding areas can be found each night in front of the stage, on the piazza, or at tables outside the bars, listening, watching, chatting, and enjoying themselves.
