We discovered this restaurant by chance as the owner doesn't bother to pay to be in the guide books. It is one of the very best restaurants we have eaten at in many years of living and visiting Italy. It takes traditional Umbrian recipes and gives them a special twist. The food is simple and delicious. Try the gnocchi repieno and the torta con tartufo, which is the msot delicious potato souffle, light as a feather. The surroundings are elegant but unpretentious, and the owner clearly love food and cooking and serving people.
Favorite Dish: The gnocchi repieno is normal gnocchi, but filled with ricotta and cut into circles with a delicate ragu sugo.

The restaurant ambiance is pretty elegant; it was and hot day and we could eat in an this internal open patio. We ordered 1 Tagliatella al Ragù (good), 1 Spaghetti Marechiaro (veery good), 4 spices of Bruschetta with tomatos (nothing special), fried potatos (good), 1 rosted skewer with squid and shrimps (very good and fresh), 1 beef steak (forget it...tough), 1 mineral water, 1/2 liter of white house wine-> 53,00 euro
Favorite Dish: Rosted squid and shrimps were very good; also Marechiaro Spaghetti (with mussel and clams) were very good; we left the steak; simply orrible.
