Helpfulness
The picnic area is nice and big. You can enjoy a cheap meal (the one you take with you!) with coffee or refreshments you can buy close. The landscape is amazing and you are 100 meters from the lanes. I recommend to buy bread on the way to the resort or in the village where the hotels and apartments are, and fill it with something you previously bought in the supermarket. There is a nice sunbath area close to that picnic area. If you are not a ski fan, unless you can get tan.

The place is nice, it's a wooden "Baita", local mountain house, witha superb mailoica stews that heat the restaurant, during the summer u can eat outside looking to the mountains....
The food is good, local receipt, try the Fonduta made with cheese and at the and, try local chees cake or in season cherries cake.
U can try Grolla dell'amicizia ( see my local custom)
